Hi I'm Heather!

Firstly, I am a mother to three beautiful children and its by far the best job in the world and a wife to my amazing husband! When I am not running around doing my mom and wife duties I reach for my camera.  I enjoy family and maternity sessions but my true love is births and First Glimpse photography (give me all the babies)!

Why the long photography name? It was a saying my grandmother used when someone was "out of character". I consider myself a photographer that is out of character, I don't limit myself on time and go above and beyond for my clients. I feel everyone, no matter their budget, should be able to have precious memories of their families and/or special moments to treasure for a lifetime. Money may make the world go round, but my love and ability to gift photography is limitless. 

A little about me:

My love for photography started back in high school with a film camera and working in a dark room and it grew from there. I have been a professional photographer since 2016 and am always growing and learning, because photography never has an end point. When I am not working with my own clients, I am continuing my photography education with online courses, classes, workshops and working with a well established photographer in my area to learn new techniques.

When I am not behind the camera, you can find me playing with my kids and plethora of animals! I enjoy being outside and going on adventures. I am a down to earth, no frills/no fuss kind of girl and you will almost always find me in a t-shirt and flip flops! 

I was born in Tacoma, Washington and lived mostly in the Seattle area. My husband is Active Duty Air Force and we've been blessed enough to travel the country. We are currently stationed at Hurlburt Field in Fort Walton Beach Florida.

I am a lover of all things Disney and the magic it brings to the world! My favorite foods are Pierogis and tacos! I love coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. At night when the kids are asleep, I enjoy a good book. 

I love being silly and making my clients laugh! Your images may be what holds the memories but I want my clients to treasure the time we spend together knowing and remembering the good time we had making those memories!
